Son Of Sardar, also known by the abbreviated form SOS, is an upcoming Bollywood romance drama film directed by Ashwani Dhir. The film features Ajay Devgn, Juhi Chawla, Sanjay Dutt and Sonakshi Sinha in the lead roles.The film is reportedly inspired from the Telugu film Maryada Ramanna. Recently Himesh Reshammiya was roped in to compose the music along with the famous lyricist Sameer Anjaan.

Ajay Devgn-Sanjay Dutt starrer Son Of Sardaar is all set to release this Diwali along with YRF's untitled film starring Shah Rukh Khan, Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma.

As the title of the film suggests Ajay Devgn and Sonakshi Sinha look like a complete Punjabi couple. In the film, Ajay sports the look of a Sardar with the beard and turban while Sonakshi will be seen in typical Punjabi attire wearing patiala suits.

Sanjay Dutt, whose bald look as Kancha in Agneepath became the talk of the town, will be seen in a completely different avatar in this film. Sanjay will be seen wearing a turban and sporting a moustache.

The film is directed by Ashwini Dhir is a remake of the Telugu film Maryada Ramanna and is about two warring Sardar families.

Son Of Sardaar is produced by Ajay Devgn and Viacom 18 and also stars Juhi Chawla opposite Sanjay Dutt.

Sachin Tendulkar meets Ajay Devgn



One is a cricketing legend who has virtually achieved every possible milestone in the game while the other is an actor par excellence who has stood the test of time for almost two decades delivering one blockbuster performance after the other. Yes we are indeed referring to Sachin Tendulkar and Ajay Devgn who happened to bump each other yesterday at Mehboob Studios in Bandra, Mumbai.

Ajay was shooting for his film Son of Sardaar while Sachin was shooting next door for an ad. During one on the breaks, Sachin took out time to meet and chat up with Ajay and from the looks of it they surely had a good time catching up.
Sachin later tweeted, "Met Ajay Devgan at Mehboob studio. An actor with amazing talent & ability. He has been brilliant for years now. Keep going strong Ajay :-)"

Ajay too was over the moon meeting the Master Blaster and tweeted, "Just got back from a great day at work and to top it all of met Sachin Tendulkar on the sets as well. What a pleasure!"
Surely this was one memorable moment for the duo!
